CCA  

California Carbon Allowance (CCA) prices closed slightly higher last week on light trading volume. The Dec22 contract closed the week at $32.88, up 0.24% on the week. The market sold off Monday and Tuesday, likely on some profit taking, after reaching a five-month high on June 1. However, prices began to climb Wednesday and Thursday. CCAs sold off Friday morning, following equities, after higher-than-expected CPI release on Friday. However, small buying came in Friday afternoon, and Dec22 settled the day only down $.02 from Thursday.
