Shawn R. Singh, Esq.

Mr. Singh is a seasoned financial services, legal, compliance, fintech and business professional with over 31 years of experience and a proven track record of building integrated, solutions-oriented teams at global asset managers across the U.S., Europe, Asian and Canada. 

Prior to founding Clear Sky Advisers in 2020, he was the Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of a multi-billion dollar asset manager and was responsible for the U.S. Brevan Howard firm spin out in 2014-2015. 

Throughout his career, he has overseen and provided expertise from a legal, regulatory, operations and compliance perspective to advisers with assets under supervision in excess of $125 billion dollars. Mr. Singh was also an associate at Fried, Frank, Dewey LeBoeuf, Norton Rose Fulbright and Bryan Cave.

Prior to beginning his legal career, he was a private banker for the Bank of Nova Scotia.  Mr. Singh is involved in a number of charities and NGOs, and has been the recipient of the Commonwealth Leadership Award and the Canadian Governor General’s Award for Excellence.  He is currently a member of the Cabinet Board for the University of Ottawa.
